I took this photo at 6 AM on a Sunday morning the day after photographing the Spokane Clock Tower photo at 5 PM. I was standing very illegally on the Division street bridge; fortunately there were no cars at that time and I was able to take my time capturing the church, GU campus and reflection of the Fall foliage in the Spokane river. The intense orange and reds were a real challenge, especially reflecting in the water.
I was baptized, confirmed, graduated from grade school (St. Aloysius ‘69) and highschool (Holy Names Academy ’73), married and renewed our 25 year anniversary in St. Aloysius church. My three other sibling all attended Gonzaga University, while I attended the University of Washington (which had an Art School) however, I am the only one that lives in Spokane now and greatly enjoy our season tickets to the Zags Basketball games! Go Zags!
